Every pet is a unique, charismatic member of your family. My pet portraits are drawn with care and attention to detail, so looking at your portrait is just like looking at your pet.

Who is Adlaya?
Everyone wants to know – who is Adlaya and why is my art business named after her? Adlaya was a once-in-a-lifetime horse I had the privilege of owning while I was in high school. She was a superstar mare with the heart of a lion, and though I sold her when I moved away to university, she remains the most special horse I’ve ever met, and I’m thrilled to be able to carry that sense of connection into my business.
This portrait of Adlaya was one of the hardest I’ve ever done – I miss her like crazy and drawing her brought back so many wonderful memories.
About the Artist

A life-long animal lover and pet owner, I moved to Guelph to study Animal Science. After finishing my Master’s in Animal Behaviour and welfare, I fell in love with Guelph and decided to stick around! I became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer in 2018, and live with two dogs and two cats.
Pet Portraits

We all know our pets are unique, special creatures, and I strive to showcase your pet’s personality each and every portrait. All my artwork is drawn using high-quality materials to ensure your portrait lasts a lifetime, and I will work with you to ensure your portrait looks just the way you imagine!
Wildlife Art

I have always been fascinated by wildlife, and even have a blog dedicated to celebrate wildlife, called Our Wild World. I am happy to draw portraits of any wild animal (even spiders!), and offer prints of many species. If you’re looking for a wildlife portrait, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Thank you so very much, Laura, for creating my lovely portrait. It looks just like me! My humans put it in a fancy frame for everyone to admire. Now I really am the cat’s meow.
